Windex Bash: Interactive Storytelling

S.C. Johnson hired Bash to create a unique event for their Windex 100% Ocean Plastic Bottle launch: the first plastic bottle made entirely of waste collected from the ocean.

They wanted a fun, memorable, and interactive way to introduce the bottles, while also raising awareness for ocean pollution (according to the World Economic Forum, our oceans will contain more plastic than fish by 2050). The 100% Ocean Plastic Bottle marks a permanent commitment by S.C. Johnson to help address this problem.

Bash created a first-person choose-your-own-adventure storybook for the guests with 17 possible storylines depending on their choices at the end of each short chapter. Each story took place, on, around, or in the ocean. 

No matter the storyline, every story ended with the main character finding a discarded bottle.

Bash’s team of professional actors narrated and guided each guest through their own unique story experience.

At the end of the story, when the bottle is found, the guest is handed a small glass bottle, a cloth, and Windex’s 100% Ocean Plastic Bottle. When the guest cleans off the bottle, a message of hope was revealed.
